Welcome to the Health Ministry area of our Parish Web site! The Health Ministry is overseen by The Health and Wellness Committee and includes an active contingent of volunteers. Everyone is invited to come to any or all of our Meetings and programs – parishioner or not – a few programs require pre-registration but most do not. Please consider joining our ranks – we would LOVE to have you – part time, full time, any time! HEALTH MINISTRY DATES Health Committee Meetings: Rooms 6 & 9 – Upper building 7:30 – 9:30 PM Health Ministry Meetings are normally held on the third Monday evening of 10 months. We normally do not meet in July and December. Meetings are open to anyone and everyone and we encourage attendance - if for no other reason, just to hear what the Ministry does. Blood Pressure Screenings: The monthly blood pressure screenings have been suspended while we seek viable options to continue this service to the parish. This program had fallen under the auspices of the Gwinnett Medical Center through the Parish Nurse program, even though administered by medically certified volunteers from the parish. Our volunteers are still willing to give of their time and talent if we can locate another sponsor. We humbly ask for your prayers." Thank you. |
